04/06/2011 Evening Update... The water is coming down fast and clearing nicely now, should be Ok for the average Joe by the weekend for sure barring any more heavy rains...<P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Green Cottage 04/06/2011 5:00am.</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-06-11-1.jpg"></DIV><P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Green Cottage 04/06/2011 5:30pm.</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-06-11-8.jpg"></DIV><P>The first one made my day! I was laughing so hard I spit coffee all over the windshield and almost peed myself when I came over the hill and I saw a boat launching at 5:00am this morning!<P>You have to get up mighty early to beat these anglers to the honey hole in a flood on a Wednesday!! Sorry guys, it is just plain funny and it actually did make my day. So really, thanks! I did guess correctly that I'd be seeing you guys in the cove or the riffles later on...<P>Well, moving on... I'm a bit bummed out. I thought I did a whole floating line/indicator instructional video on the 2nd with George and Denny. It was a fifteen minute deal that finished off with the guys doing numerous battles with the newly learned skills, but when I tried to do anything with the footage here at home it was all corrupted and ruined... Bummer! After re-formatting the SD card my camera seems to be OK, so I'll try the instructional again soon.<P>Anyway, we did have a big day with lots of hookups, lots of battles and, at least a few fish landed. Big fun as always George and I'll look forward to the next time.<P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Thanks guys!</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-02-11-1.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-02-11-2.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-02-11-3.jpg"></DIV><P>On the 3rd I took anglers Paul and his son Abe. Crazy weather to say the least. Thundersnow, hail, rain, etc... 12 yr old Abe was a trooper to say the least and he not only landed his first ever Rainbow, first ever Brown Trout, second ever Brown Trout and his first ever Steelhead, (After doing battle with several others) but he did all that on flies that he tied! Awesome!!Here's some thundersnow footage I took just to test the camera on the 3rd. (I put the wrong date in the title!<P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Thundersnow, April 3rd...</DIV></B><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><object width="640" height="360"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=22018277&server=vimeo.com&sh ow_title=1&show_byline=0&show_portrait=1&color=00a def&fullscreen=1&autoplay=0&loop=0" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=22018277&server=vimeo.com&sh ow_title=1&show_byline=0&show_portrait=1&color=00a def&fullscreen=1&autoplay=0&loop=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="640" height="360"></embed></object></DIV><P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Nice trout Abe!</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-03-11-2.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-03-11-3.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-03-11-4.jpg"></DIV><P>John and I hear it all the time from passing boats about where's the candles, do you have any Grey Poupon or, where's the dancing girls, but hey, it takes us about two extra minutes to have a meal in complete comfort instead of trying to cut a pork chop in your lap and I especially like it when we're high and dry in the pouring rain or freezing snow!<B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Why not be comfortable?</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-03-11-5.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-03-11-6.jpg"></DIV><P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Welcome to the addiction Abe!!!!!!!!!</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-03-11-7.jpg"></DIV><P>On the 4th John, Johnny and I had a group trip. The water was blown out over the banks and chocolate, but we went ahead and worked a grid in the various gravels to get-r-done! Had a blast as always guys and we'll see you next year if not before...<P><B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER">Tighten that skirt up boys!!!</DIV></B><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-05-11-5.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-05-11-3.jpg"></DIV><P><DIV ALIGN="CENTER"><IMG SRC="http://bbt.steelcity.net/04-05-11-4.jpg"></DIV><P>Today, the 6th, was another trip with Gary and George, some repeat customers (Hey, come to think of it I must be doing something right if all these guys keep coming back for this kind of abuse! ;^) and we had a blast as always. The water was much more manageable than the day before and we found fish in every spot we stopped at that wanted to play.
