Boy was it cold yesterday and stayed that way most of the day. It started at a balmy 7 degrees and made icing up an issue all day. The sun tried to help but at times it didn't seem to matter. Wearing something black when the sun is out helps, it seems to absorb the heat.

But the fishing seemed to be OK. Doze was into a fish right away at 9:30 am. Unfortunately he would struggle landing his fish because he dunked his Ross CLA into the PM and it froze up solid.
Jim and his friend Mitch were out as well and got into a few...

The transportation for the day was provided by Doze and is pictured below. This boat was made from scratch, no plans, no pre cut wood, etc...

Where things really get interesting and hence the warning for this post is we decided that when we land a steelhead we will pose shirtless... Reminds me of a certain guide in Michigan with a comb-over.. We call it the MS pose.. Again viewer discrestion is advised...Doze was first and ended up 1-7 for the day..
