Haha I figured everyone had been there its all of a 30yd hike in. I wish i could have gotten a shot or two without 50 of Purdue's finest crawling all over it, hence me trying to keep it out of focus lol.
Thanks,
Jordan

It wasn't that long ago you had to park on the road and walk in. The path wasn't all that great back in the day. The new parking lot is a lot more convenient, but has taken away from the fun. Been visiting that place since I was a fetus. It sure has changed over the years.

9er is a bitch when it comes to carp. He's scared of them. I hit him with a carp last summer, and he's still crying about it. He might have thrown those waders out.

In defense of "Mrs 9er"..i wouldnt grab the smelly damn thing either!!! You damn near have to cut your hand off to get rid of that rotten fish smell!!!
 ;) :D
If I know 9er at all, he will be a carp fanatic by next summer. This is the same guy who had no interest in ripping big stuff for trout.
Did we hijack your thread enough, Jordan? I suppose we could stop bashing 9er now...
Nah! Lets keep it going! ;)

Its about an 8" perch. I guess when you catch the poop fish straight out of the crystal clear water of Lake Michigan they dont stink....

About 25 years ago I hit a carp on a dry that was nearly 30 lbs. It stunk. But it came out of Ford Lake, just a bit downstream from Ypsilanti Mi.
