Fished a different river today, smaller, and closer to home, fish just showed up, few fish around but once again it takes a little work to find a few players..... I did alright myself this afternoon....... Hit 4 big males in a pocket behind some active gravel, landed two of them. Pretty dark and beat up, gave up some good fights tho! Only fished about 1.5 hr before my mom called me mad as heck cuz I forgot about my doc appointment........ Oops, good thing i was close to home!!!
