Brings back old memories!!

Had a 1st today fly fishing in a LONG time!!! Finally got to get my brand new Scott switch rod wet. Love the rod so far, and the more i use it the more i think i'll like it!! Today was my first day with it on the river, got into a few steelies with it, and got to land my fish #1 on the new rod! All fish today were on pink mcflyfoam eggs and 1 fish on BH.... I was ecstatic to hook and land fish on my 1st trip out with it! Got to break it in right!

That is a great picture. Congrats. Were you swinging or using an indy rig?

Well I bought the rod for swinging... But been slow at work and not wanting to spend the money left on a new reel and a skagit head... SO I pulled my reel off of my sage and put it on the scott. Indy rigs is wat we were doing today, the guy i fished with swung for a little while and hit nothing.

lol matt!! I was getting really worried about it... Cuz id text you back, then jsut stuff it into my wader pocket while casting again......... THought for sure she was goin swimming!!! Next time dont be so friendly, come push me off that rock or something, say hello!! lol.... I hope you didnt laugh too hard at my "attempts" to cast 2 handed.... quite a new task for me! Lol YOu catch that fish where i hit my first 2 matt?

Ok i'll leave the phone in my truck next time....... Fished again tonight, WHAT A ZOOOOOOOOO holy balls... I was about to go crazy. Fishin kinda sucked to.
