Fall Swap

Hello Everyone...............it's been a pretty busy summer here! Anyone in the mood for a swap? How about your favorite steelhead pattern. We'll cap the participants at 10 so you can tie and send 9. If you want to tie eggs or ESL's then you have to double up! Address will follow via PM to participants. Let's set the Due date to November 7th so we can use the patterns.:)

I will do Linesman's Tri-Color Hex. Now the question is, what color? I can tie it in natural, black or olive. I'll leave that up to you guys, if I don't hear anything I will probably just tie it in natural.

Ronc it really just depends on the time of year for the color, since natural works better in the fall and winter that is what I will tie up.

I was just wondering if the flies have been sent out? I am heading out on trip this weekend and was hoping to wet a few of the new ones.

I know mine were late..but not for not sending...I had gone out of town and they got kicked back while I was out by the USPS...lack of enough postage...so that offset mine by a week. I sent mine out this week...I wasn't sure if they had been sent out and had emailed ron to see if I could still send them but didn't get a response...maybe he's out fishing!

just realized I forgot toe-tags on mine...mine are the silver bullets..they glow in the dark...all white...with a red collar...highly productive for all species if you don't make it up for Steelies.

...got mine today, and a nice little gift from "Santa ronc"!:cool:
The flies are all great, and just wnated to thank Ron for doing this. It always takes a little extra to be the guy that does the swap, and life doesn't always "happen" in an orderly fashion. Hope everyone has a happy healthy and productive 2009!

hey all..I took photos of all the flies and will post them tomorrow or Monday...I always like to have a visual...if I don't I end up fishing the fly and forget the pattern.
