The SLV is a nice reel for the price and a good reel for smaller fish. The drag is suitable enough to handle anything you will probably catch on a 5wt. A very quiet reel which I like and a smooth retreive.

Those are some pretty impressive falls and nice brookies too. A trip to the UP for some great scenery and brook trout has kind of been on the back burner for awhile. One of these years I'll have to make good on those intentions.

very nice pics, happened to be in the western upper last week and saw some brookies like those. Hope your trip was as fun and successful as mine.
