Brown Drakes

First summer in Michigan.......curious what size the brown drakes are?? I've heard some say an 8, most a 10, and a few a 12!!!

Any patterns you recommend I tie up?

Tie up sizes 10 and 12 in the Roberts Yellow Drake pattern. Great bug and fun to tie.

Roberts drakes and yellow drakes in a size 10,12,or 14 are the go to flies for sure. I fish em close to the cover most of the time. Maybe thats why I loose a bunch of them in a season.
