View Full Version : May Fish Photos
Some of these shots aren't the best as I was using a new camera. The focus was bad on some due to rain, heavy fog, and just bad focusing on my part. Still learning but I will LOVE this camera when I learn it better.
Some beautiful browns.

I said it once . . . I'll say it again. When I grow up I want to be just like VITO! Great Pictures, Man. My problem, is that I can't find someone that likes to fish as hard as I do, and can take off on a moments notice. It's hard to take interesting photos when you have to hold the specimen yourself. I usually just end up laying the bruiser on the ground next to my net to get proportions . . . boring!
Keep it up Vito. I never tire of looking at your creativity.

Well these dont quite compare, but im still catching some steel in a smaller trib down the road from the house. Went 4-8 today, 1-1 yesterday. No fly rod, river is too tight i think to fight a fish very good with a fly rod, so the spin tackle came back out of storage!!

Carpmaster, i knew i seen a band pic just like that somewhere!!! Over memorial weekend i caught a 4# smallmouth with the same exact type of band in his mouth!! Caught em up on Skegmog lake. Called the DNR and they said it was due to a type of study obviously, im supposed to get more info forwarded to me by mail.. Did you call on yours at all?

A friend of mine caught a banded walleye in Ohio last year. The band was from MI and it was a "reward" band worth $100. Nice catch huh?

got one of those almost 3 years ago. its to track their migrations in lake michigan. got some free lures from the dnr with a report charting where it was tagged and where else it had been caught. i kept it alive for the dnr to take the serial numbers off of it and let it go. nice solid 8lb. fish
