Have you seen anything like this???

Here is a picture of a fish we caught last week. I have never seen a fish so deformed like this was. I have seen them with their heads deformed from being ripped off of trolling gear, but never anything like this.

I have seen one other fish like this. I caught a steelhead out of Ludington in early August that had the same deformaty. Strange that both fish came from the same genral area of the lake?

There was a salmon pulled out of the wier up here like that during the first harvest. However, this was a smaller fish. I am not sure whether or not it was sent for test.

I've seen a steelhead like that before. The top jaw was actually bent further in toward the throat. Probably an injury the fish suffered in the hatchery or when it was a juvenille.

There's no problem, just like with the Snakehead Fish, mama just dropped him on his head.
