January fly swap

I would like to start a new fly swap for January. We'll set the number of swappers to 13 (12 including me) so you will tie 12 flies. ESL and wooly buggers are not allowed. I'll set the deadline to January 18 to compensate for the coming holidays. Please don't sign up if you have any doubt that you can't make the deadline. Thanks:)

That was clear Loon Hard Head. It's pretty shiny because I had just finished applying it when I took the pic and it may have still been a little wet. That being said, even when dry the Loon stays pretty shiny. I just like that look.

Just got the materials to tie my flies. Should be done in two weeks or so. (I have exams all of this week so they will probably be sent out the 28th or 29th of Dec.) I think you guys will like them!;)

The color is more like the second pic (orange, vice tan, chenille); I'm not sure what happened with the lighting on the first.

I had a few consitancy issues on this particular tye: heads, hackle wraps, tail length, etc.... I'm not exactly sure but I just couldn't get any two to look alike. Oh, well, Ronc will be the only one to notice since he'll have them all together.

Also, as promised, I'll include a couple of PM Brassies!

Hope you all enjoy and catch many, many fish with these.

Glad you got them alright Diesel. For some reason the woman at the post office was giving me a hard time because it was bulky (with both of our tins) and thought it might have trouble going through the processor so I told her to send them first class.

Great flies everyone! I was able to get out today and try out a couple.

Dallas - I tied the larger streamer pattern that you have pictured. It's an adaptation of Feenstra's emulator without the emu. It works well in high off colored water over 38 degrees. I did well swinging it a week and a half ago when we recieved the warm up.

esp is correct that is my verssion of the black sally. I changed the colors to make see what was working last year and thats the one that produces the most.
