This might make some of you shake your heads but is a "Henny" a Hendrickson pattern? Whether it is or not, does anybody have a good "Henny" pattern for the North branch of the Au Sable? or for that matter a good Hendrickson pattern for that same area? Thanks for the help.

hook 1 x long nymph size 12 and 14
weight wire or bead (opp)
rib fine copper wire (opp)
tail wood duck flank or mallard dyed wood duck
abdomen dubbing in seal brown or Hendrickson nymph redish purple
wing case whit tipped turkey tail treated with daves flexament
thorax same as abdomen
legs English grouse tied bearded or divided or color style
catskill style dry
size 12 or 14 standard dry fly hook
tail medium dun spade hackle
body adams gray or dark tan dubbing
wing wood duck flank dyed lemon
hackle dye medium dun
standard dry hook size 12 or 14
tail dun spade hackle or micro fibers
body dark tan or adams gray dubbing
wing natral costal deer hair
make sure to fish right fly in right pool fish get very picky

Classic "hennie" pattern is the Borchers Special, or Borchers Drake. Google them to find lots of tying instructions.
