This would be a perfect Steelhead rod, or bass/larger sized fish fly rod.
Blank is a Dark blue IM6 9' 7wt Moderate/fast action. Seat is a double lock ring black aluminum, also has a screw in removable fighting butt that I put on it. Handle is flor grade cork with Jadwood accents on each end. Wraps I did in black and then tipped them with single turn gold metallic trim bands. They look great next to the black wraps. Two strippers as well were used on it. Then the hardware is all blacked out so it has a pretty subtle classy look to it.
This rod came out super nice looking and very "clean & classy" if you ask me. Anyone that is interested in it can get ahold of me and I can give you names of a bunch of guys on the site that own some of my rods if you'd like to get some feedback on them first.
Price for members here on BBT's site before it goes to ebay- $100
I'll get some better pics of it out in the sunlight tomorrow and post. Then it will be off to ebay in a day or two.
