I've been wanting to buy the Fly Tier's Benchside Reference book but was too cheap to throw down the C-note that was on the tag. So last week I checked out Amazon and found it listed for $63 !!! Just got it today. What a book ! Anyone who is interested in ONE book to tie from, this is it !!!

Yupp that is THE book to have for tying. Theres nothing you wont find in there. I actually found mine last year and ***** of all places:eek: for $65. Couldnt believe it when I seen it for that price there so I snatched it up. Excellent book.

If you havent done it yet go tothe section in the book on weaving and try the overhand weave on a stonefly body. Its very simple and looks awesome if you use two different colors of larva lace.

Ok...you got my curiousity set in motion so I had to take a peak at that section. That is a cool weave ! Can't wait to try out some of these techniques. But...being at work with the door half shut trying to leaf through this book without anyone seeing what I'm doin' is challenging enough right now. :rolleyes: I'm sure this book will truely be a benchside manual !
