Notice the price drop below. It's killing me to see this boat everyday and not get to fish in it as much as I was hoping. It is in serious need of salmon slime and a tasty ale spilled in it (although it does have cup holders).
Hate to do it, but I must put my wooden Mckenzie up for sale. It is a great boat that I built myself. I'm a furniture maker by trade and built it with the same attention to detail. It is practically brand new and I'm selling due to relocation. It's just under 15' long, beautiful burgandy painted sides with oiled exposed wood. The handrails and chines are white oak and ribs are vertical grain doug fir. The sides have a layer of fiberglass under the marine paint. Bottom is three layers of glass and epoxy with graphite powder added for slickness and durability. All plywood is quality marine grade and fasteners are stainless steel. Boat comes with sliding bench seat in front with storage, comfortable rope seat for the rower, and transom seat. Included are sawyer oars and new trailer. This boat looks great and handles like a dream. It is also light enough that 2 people can lift it. Plenty of room for 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids.
