Just got back from a trip on the PM. Noticed allot of people using indicators in very shallow water - like three feet.

What is the benefit of running an indy in low water ?

Not much at all! I like to call it the ***** School of flossing, (no slam on the boys down the road of course, it's just that we don't carry *****.) just have the people stop good mending or set the bobber just so that the whole rig hangs up a little just before the spot that the fish are spawning then sweeps the leader thru the fish when you try to "correct" it...

Much more of a snagging, flossing, lining method than C&D, so I get a big kick out of some of the "purist" theories I hear out there against C&D... Both methods can be bastardised of course, but it's a lot easier to have people line fish with indy than it is with C&D and they'll never even know it.
