Canoe Restoration

I just required an Old Town, 18ft, cedar canoe. It needs a lot of work, but it's pretty much all there. I am wondering if anybody here has experience with this, or maybe a link to a website. I have access to a good book specific for this, but talking to somebody may clear up the gray areas.
