I thought some of you may be interested in this fly since there's been some talk of a fly swap here recently.This is not my tie,it's a fly done by one of our best tyers on M-S.com,although I am going to attempt it mabye some of you better tyers can give this one a go :)

Here's the recipe, the fellow who tied it told me it takes him about an hour to tie.Good luck!
Hook-Alec Jackson Size 7 Spey. Use any hook You feel to.
Tailing- Porcupine Quills
Underbody- Dental Tape
Abdomen- 1/4" Laxtex strips folded in half and palmered forward.
Wing cases-Wing Buds Sold here. http://www.hatchmasters.ca/
Thorax- Brown Ostrich
Legging- Porcupine Quill and Japanese Nymph leggs also sold at above link.
Head underbody is also laytex.
Antennas-Porcupine Quill with horse hair ran through it.
Stonefly was colored with a brown and tan marker and coated with SoftTex.
