Tying Spawn Bags

What size of spawn Bags would everyone recommend for the PM this time of year " The MapleLeaf Section" I am using King spawn and also what color netting? Looking forward to breaking in the new pin later this week.

Keep them small, about the size of a dime or so seem to work best for me this time of year. Normal colors will work too, chartruese, and pink being my favorites(don't count out white if the water is clear).... Don't forget to bring some waxies, they can save the day when spawn isn't working.

I second the pink and chartruese netting. 3,4, 5 egg bags are my favorite. I caught my largest steelie on a 3 egg bag.

I will agree with what the others have said. When and if you take some waxies with you, put them in a pill bottle. The plastic container that they come in don't last two long in your vest. I wouldn't be afraid to carry some wigglers with you as well (do the same with the wigglers, put them in a pill bottle). I have caught alot of steelies in the past running a wiggler under a bobber.
