but not with my bow, instead with my truck @9am this morning. Was heading to beaverton to help my cousin out in tracking a deer that he shot. Well, long and short of the story, two does ran across the road, one didn't make it. A quick call to the CO's, and a round to put her outa her misery, a permit for the possession of a road killed deer and I was on my. No we didn't find my cousins, but we are heading backout tomorow sometime to pick up the blood trail. So, a dented bumper (actually she pushed the bumper in and up), busted fog light, broken turn signal, and not to mention a broken arrow rest  I was in to much of a hurry and didn't put my bow in the case, and it resluted in a broken arrow rest.
What a morning!!
So she is hanging in the garage, awaiting the job that I hate the most. Skinning and cutting.

Congradulations , I guess, as many deer that I dodge getting to and from job sites I'm surprised I'm not the author of your report. Although there's not a lot of sport involved in a car/deer at least you can take comfort in that you weren't hurt. A lot of people aren't that fortunate. Bumpers and lights can be replaced- good health is much more important. I wonder how that guy from Penn. is recouping after killing that buck with his bare hands in his daughters bedroom last week.

Thanks streamlover. Yeah, I am just fine, thank god for trucks. I almost drove the wifes grand am that morning, but changed my mind as I was walking out the door.
WHAT? Killing a buck with you bare hands in daughters bed room? Hey, I betcha that is a cover up. They say buck instead of boyfriend, lol, sorry. (bad joke, sorry) Anyways, is there a link for that? Sure would like to see the story on that one.
